URBAN GATE
First things first, let me tell you about pain.
When lost, it feels like fate.
It begins with a trip – in the brain.
And is found in-between love and hate.
Second, let me tell you about the terrain.
It is connected like a strait.
And flows as a violent river from the pouring rain.
From the deepest ocean and the tallest mountains, it will fixate.
Third, let me tell you about loss and gain.
There is nothing to lose with a clean slate.
Keep your head and you will keep sane.
Life ensures you a full plate.
Last things last, let me tell you about the train.
It is not a smooth ride and is often late.
But the train of pain has something to gain looking back out at the terrain.
And it starts and ends at the Urban gate.
